Hello Angels! I hope this message finds you well, Healty, Happy, and enjoying this spring weather. I know I am enjoying every second of it! I want to apologize for the delay in the post following the recent 17 April event. It went to drafts instead of being posted, and I didn’t know it until today. I am getting used to this level of savvy with working the weblog, and I appreciate your patience with my process.
Consider this your personal invitation to the next Project AngelFaces event, and feel free to share it with your friends, too!
Come out to the New Vista Ranch on Sunday, May 23, 2010, from 9 am to 1 pm to help us build the new compost bin system for the Garden of Project AngelFaces on property.
This is the premier Community Support Program of Project AngelFaces, and it is growing very sweetly and steadily. We need to expand the compost system to accommodate the increase in garden beds in the garden.
We have the plans and all the materials we need to build the system. Now all we need to add is YOU! Bring your skills, perhaps your tools if you can (hammer, pry-bar, cordless drill, screwdriver, safety goggles, sawzall), and get ready to have a good time working with great people to build support for the vulnerable in our community. Don’t forget to bring your protection from the elements: water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, working gloves, closed toed shoes, sun hat, handkerchief, snacks, etc.
Please RSVP to this event to let me know you are coming, and bring your friends! I work to provide carpool when available, so if you’re in the Green Valley area and want to carpool, let me know and I’ll arrange it for you.
Thank you for being angels, and for SHOWING UP for the community!
Light and Gratitude–
Rhonda K.
Hi Rhonda,
My name is Julie. I spoke with you in May about homeschool families being involved in the garden. I’m sorry it took a bit to get back to you. In May I became pregnant and haven’t felt myself. I’m still interested in being part of the fun! If you ever need me to post things on homeschooling groups to spread the word, I’d love to help. 🙂
Julie
P.s. I couldn’t find your e-mail address. Could you send it to me so we can correspond by e-mail…not comments. 🙂
