Project AngelFaces can help you Harvest your fruit trees!
Project AngelFaces forges cooperative collaborations with property owners who have existing productive fruit trees on their property. Through this collaboration, and with the help of volunteers from the Host of Angels, ripe fruit is harvested, cleaned on-site, separated, and distributed to vulnerable elders and youth. We share these harvests through a network of existing social service agencies and local non-profits whose operations support elders and youth.
In exchange for fruit harvesting services, homeowners agree to pay a nominal fee or provide the equivalent from our wish list. Homeowners also agree to allow access to property and on-site use of available harvesting tools, including ladders, tarps, collection buckets, rakes, fruit pickers, water hose and water, and access to restrooms for volunteers. The Host of Angels and Project AngelFaces agree to respect the privacy and property rights of homeowners, to practice impeccable safety, to leave properties cleaner than when we found them, and to coordinate harvest efforts with the utmost courtesy and respect.
